This policy explains what we collect on aboutwine.app and what we do with it. We keep it short because, right now, we keep data collection small.
What we collect
When you join our early-access list, we collect the email address you give us. Our servers also record routine technical details that come with any web request — your approximate country, browser type, and which page referred you — which we use to understand interest and prevent abuse.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data. Ever.
How we use it
- To email you about AboutWine early access and launch.
- To occasionally share wine tips or product news you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To understand how many people are interested and where they’re coming from, in aggregate.
Where it’s stored
Your email is stored securely on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. We may use a reputable email service provider to send messages. We retain your email until you ask us to remove it or unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and you can ask us to delete your information entirely by emailing privacy@aboutwine.app. We’ll honor the request promptly.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any storage we use is strictly to make the site work.
Children
AboutWine is intended for adults of legal drinking age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal drinking age in their country.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above. Material changes will be communicated to people on our list.
