Before you install
How do I download Aboutwine?
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and search for Aboutwine, or tap the Download on the App Store button on this page. The app is free and requires iOS 26.0 or later.
Is Aboutwine free?
Yes. Label scanning, the full catalog, taste profiles, food pairings, the Wine Atlas and your Collection are free, along with 3 AI sommelier questions a day. Aboutwine Premium is an optional subscription that raises that to 50 questions a day.
Is there an Android or web version?
Not yet. Aboutwine is currently an iPhone and iPad app. There is no Android app and no web app today.
Do I need an account?
You sign in with Apple so your collection follows you across devices, or you can continue as a guest to look around first.
